Sažetak
Resistance to stalk antracnose was transferred from the local source Bc 10 into early elite maize inbreds F2 and Bc 252 by applying pedigree selection with two backkrosses. In testcrosses lines Bc 102-4 and Bc 102-1 resistance to stalk rot and grain yield were significantli increased in comparison with the testcrosses with original inbred F2. In the second trial at 4 losations the testcross with the Bc 10252 with inproved resistance to stalk rot had average stalk breakage in comparison with standard combination Bc 252 (16,8%), wich was also accompanied with significant grain yielj increase.
