Sažetak
Introductory speach to a session submitted on the International Medieval Congress. In the session were presented works on use of the Roland's legend in late medieval Dubrovnik (Zrinka Pešorda), attempt to canonisation of St. John of Capestrano and role of the counts of Ilok in it (Stanko Andrić) and the attempt of creation of King Zvonimir's cult by the Šubići (Damir Karbić).
