Sažetak
The paper seeks to find relationship between corporate governance and efficiency in the Croatian hotel industry. This article analyses a minimum set of key corporate governance principles, by examining which company is in compliance with most well-known principles of corporate governance. The focus is on relationship between corporate governance practice and efficiency achieved. The research sample consists of 77 biggest hotel companies in Croatia, ranged by revenue. Due to existence of many factors influencing a company’s activity, the impact of corporate governance is difficult to evaluate. The research problem will be tested to evaluate corporate governance company's practices and characteristics, wedged on performance level i.e. efficiency achieved by different companies.
