Sažetak
The aim of this paper was to determine whether management knows the concept of integrated management systems (ISU) and on what ways standards of quality management, environment and safety are implemented. Quality is still the main source to improve the market competitiveness, and the ability of the quality management system to ensure continuity of quality along minimum costs is often crucial for the survival and expansion of business activities. Research was conducted in the form of survey and correspondents were the 39 oil companies from the European Union, as well as from those countries that participate in the trade with the European Union (China, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, Ukraine and Belarus). Generally, related to contextual issues it can be concluded that the benefits of quality management systems, environmental protection and safety are identified by all observed companies. Integration management system was performed in 74% of the companies from which it can be inferred undisputed economic and other benefit that owners are therefore assumed or already achieved through competitive advantage in the marketplace. With 90% confidence it can be concluded that the companies within the European Union are giving more importance to: lower operating costs and lower dependence on imported energy sources as a result of using integrated management systems, to environment protection as the base of sustainable development.
