Sažetak
The main goal of this study was to analyse development of complex energy system of Republic of Croatia until 2020. For that purpose, the existing BALANCE network was used, which follows the energy flows to final energy demand level. Together with this, the network for useful energy demand for households and services was developed; for space heating, water heating, cooking, cooling and special electricity consumption. For forecasting growth in consumption of final energy demand and useful energy demand MAED Module was used. Continue to that results and with BALANCE Module, we wanted to determine the demand for import of hard coal, natural gas and crude oil, with respect to possibility of domestic production. Using the IMPACTS Module, we wanted to find out how the development of energy system will reflect to environment especially to air emissions.
