Sažetak
The manifestation of early language development varies across different languages. Underlying processes classified as a more universal feature of language systems are expressed on its surface depending on particular language as well as the abilities and biases of a particular child. Therefore, language acquisition becomes complex process and although the first acquired forms are linguistically easy to define, they need very thoughtful approach in explaining their emergence. The intention of the workshop is to explore and discuss different aspects and features of early language development in four languages putting an emphasis of possible crosslinguistic comparisons.
