Sažetak
Beta glucans produced by some edible mushrooms like Lentinula edodes and Trametes versicolor are able to control the synthesis of different mycotoxins. The inhibition is related both to their antioxidant effects per se and to indirect antioxidant activity by stimulation of the antioxidant response in cells of toxigenic fungi.
