Sažetak
Advantages of Real-time PCR analysis performed by LightCycler are:results of analysis can be finished in less than 2 hours, it has broad range of detection (5-6 log), it is open to other´s manufacturers reagents, it has minimal possibility of contamination, quality control is implemented in tests (negative, positive, internal controls, AmpErase, ), it can be used for detection of nonculturable microorganisms (Tropheryma whippeli) or microorganisms that grow very poorly (Bordetella pertusis), genotyping of HSV or HCV, detection of inherited diseases, detection of chromosomal translocations that can cause malignant diseases etc.
