Sažetak
The results of a four-year long experiment related to the influence of rootstocks 420A and Kober 5BB on the quantity and quality of cv. Istrian malvasia grapes were interpreted. Different bud loading (20, 30 and 35 buds per vine) was performed on spur pruned cordon, in three repetitions. The number of cluster per vine and their weight were recorded at harvest. Based on these data, the average weight of one cluster was determined. Sugar content, titratable acidity and the pH were analysed for representative samples of each bud loading, repetition and rootstock. Data were statistically processed by analysis of variance. Differences were tested by Duncan-test. All tested bud loading and both rootstocks did well with respect to the yield and grape quality.
