Sažetak
There is no doubt point out that human resources in the hospitality industry are an important element in e-marketing mix. In addition to the traditional roles of staff in the online environment, technology development, communications staff and guests are transferred into the virtual environment, which gets a whole new dimension. It comes to the creation of so-called- virtual communities that occur in parallel with the communication in the offline environment. These two views of human resources in the hospitality industry will be discussed below. Focus of the paper will be on the new trends and techniques in human resource marketing on European and Croatian hospitality market. With explained procedures of human resource marketing we can improve the marketing process in a way that the hotel staff using information technology to connect with their guests. The effort is necessary on both sides, in order to achieve communication, and guests have acquired the habit of using modern e- marketing applications in the hospitality industry.
