Sažetak
There is growing interoperability problem of different information system that share and combine data, information and knowledge in cooperative ITS environment. In this paper, we describe a method for improving interoperation among ITS applications based on semantic approach. ITS domain ontology represents a clear set of formal elements that describes something being used for a specific purpose in ITS domain. Domain ontology should allow establish further advanced levels of interoperability on the ITS domain in terms of content semantic analysis. They should allow further representation and inference layer on top of the ITS current data and information layers. Ontology in ITS domain should allow intelligent services as an information brokers, search agents, information filters, intelligent information integration and knowledge management in ITS domain.
