Sažetak
Peruća dam at Cetina river, Croatia was severe damaged by five explosive devices detonated by Serbian solders on January 28, 1993. As large quantities of core and fill materials were washed away it could have threatened the homes the homes of the population of 20 000 downstream, who have been prepared for evacuation. Croatian authorities immediately started to prevent internal erosion by filling large amounts of materials on dam and performed investigation of seismological, geophysical and water outflow and flushing out of core material. In this papers water temperature and directional currents were measured in aim to find exact position of the hole in dam. Based on investigation trucks were directed to deposit material in the right position along dam to close hole caused by explosive. Thanks to this and other measurements and persistence of all participants in event dam and houses downstream of it were rescued.
