Sažetak
This paper is knocking on the doors of another dimension of law. It provides diverse examples, from the social aspects, through the application of competition rules, to various problems associated with the terminological approximation as part of the Europeanisation process. It tries to present the complexity of the issues the transition countries are facing in the whirlpool of globalisation and Europeanisation processes. In the academic literature, these issues are mostly elaborated from the perspective of current EU Member States or third countries, whereas the specific cultural and legal setting of the transition countries is mostly out of focus. It agrees with authors who see Europeanisation as one stage of the globalisation process, and even more specifically, as a laboratory of globalisation. Nevertheless, it must not be forgetten that it is always nationally driven: this is where the flexibility of national decision-makers comes to the forefront. The research of this subject surpasses the limits of this article. Globalisation and Europeanisation, as well as the future of national adaptation of current and future Member States depends primarily from the existing legal culture in these countries. This unassuming contribution is just to provide some initial thoughts on how this complexity affects value judgments of the national legislators and judges.
