Sažetak
Fat embolism syndrome has been clinically associated with long bone fractures.Its classical clinical presentation is MODS.In younger population with fractures of long bones FES manifests by ARDS/ALI, disorders of consciousness, petechiae of the skin and mucosa.According to medical articles, clinical signs of sympathicus activation with hormonal metabolic answer are presents in 3% of younger population treated by internal fixation of femural fractures.There are three forms of FES classified by Sevitt.We present our experience of patients with clinical picture of FES.
