Sažetak
The goal of this research has been to present an information model for the impact of English language on Croatian language for the year 2022. The model is based on the assumed linguistic situations in 1992, 2012 and, eventually, in 2022. The basic scientific hypothesis, which has been proven through the direct growth rates of the given model variables, asserts that "it can be assumed that, by 2022, the influence of English language on Croatian language will be stronger than before". The information model has been used for calculating the forecast of the growth of the given variables until 2022. Their growth forecast until 2018 ranges respectively from 10 to 20 % ; however, due to the synergic relationship between the variables, this paper suggests the direct growth rates amounting from 17.6 to 33.3 %.
