Sažetak
Although twenty years passed since the reintroduction of water hydraulics one should not consider that as a revolutionary turn in the field of fluid power. This paper presents a comparison of physical properties of mineral oil and water as a working fluids in hydraulic systems in order to present the problems faced by scientists and engineers in research and design of water hydraulics components. The area of research in water hydraulics is just a consequence of the benefits of water versus mineral oils, as well as the disadvantages that need to be overcome.
