Sažetak
During five months period in 7 patients who underwent elective craniotomies for brain tumor resection, we have used hypertonic saline instead of mannitol as osmotic therapy. Results regarding patients hemodynamics and electrolyte status, as well as dural tension and neurosurgical comfort during operation are presented.
