Sažetak
The paper presents the 3D FEM research into middle web deformation belonging to involute spur thin-rimmed gear mating with a solid one. The web deformation expressed by the displacements was presented in a non-dimensional form, and the impact of the rim and web thickness was examined for the adopted face width of thin-rimmed gear. The analysis of the obtained results and the comparison with the results of the corresponding rim deformation has enabled additional insight into the deformation of gear body component that effects the tooth deflection.
