Sažetak
The paper presents the 3D FEM research into middle web deformations belonging to involute spur thin-rimmed gear mating with a solid one. The web deformations expressed by the displacements were presented in a non-dimensional form, and the impact of the rim and web thickness was examined for the adopted face width of thin-rimmed gear. The analysis of the obtained results has enabled additional insight into the deformation of gear body components that effect the tooth deflection.
