Sažetak
The application of programmable high-level integration circuits (FPGA) as a component of surveillance and measuring equipment facilitates the presentation of the surveillance video recording and the collected data in a way which makes it easier for the traffic experts to analyze the presented situations. This paper describes possibility of implementation of the augmented reality (AR) system. The FPGA / DSP / CPU circuit of the surveillance camera allows carrying out of the procedures of improving the quality of the surveillance video recording and their visual integration with the collected traffic-relevant data into a unique data layer. The collected traffic-relevant analytical data have been presented as a layer of graphical data “above” the video recording of the surveillance camera. The programmable architecture of the FPGA circuit allows upgrading of the existing solutions and implementation of the more advanced ones by remote network access. The video recording enriched by analytical data about the condition of the supervised part of ITS arrives is processed to the surveillance centre without need for further manipulation of the contents. Regarding the defined access rights, the users can access only a certain layer or a group of data.
