Sažetak
Neurogenic - neuropathic pain is caused by organic, functional and pharmacological damage to the neural substrate of the peripheral and central nervous system. It affects sensible and motoric neurons and is caused by either illness of injury of the neural pathway. It has no warning function ; it is unpleasant and is regularly accompanied by phenomena of allodynia, hyperesthesia, hyperpathia and causalgia. It is also regularly chronic in duration. The article presents patients with neurogenic pain caused by different noxes. After diagnostic test blocade of the affected nerve was preformed using long-lasting local anaesthetic, repeated blocks of plexus brachialis, n. femoralis, n. ischiadicus, n. radialis, n. ulnaris, and n. tibialis were peformed by usage of permanent catheter. Repeated blocks of the nerve fibres using long-lasting local anaesthetic are shown to be very efficient for treatment of chronic neuropathic pain.
