Sažetak
In our study histological and histochemical techniques were used to determine histomorphological and enzymatic characteristics of ovaries in the Norway lobster-Nephrops norvegicus females. Ovarian development was classified into four stages-stage 0-3, based on external examination of colouration and the relative size of the ovaries to the size of the chephalothoracts. Obtained results showed that functional reproductive cycle of Norway lobster females in awerage lasted six months and duration of ovarian development depent upon temperature. The significat percetage 80 procents of females in nephrops poulationd showed the same seasonal rhythm of reprocutive cycle.
