Sažetak
Nature Park Kopački rit (Croatia) is one of the largest Danubian flood areas and is of international importance for biodiversity. The GIS has been used since 1999 for the systemization of ecological data. The digital model was based on a topografy layer digitized from 1:25000 and maps with contour lines from 0.5m (source: geodetic maps). The model of water level changes, pedological and vegetation maps, the distribution of the White-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) and the data base for dragonflies (Odonata) were presented in this paper. Results of the future development of GIS will be used for the sustainable management of Kopački rit.
