Sažetak
Every plan for doing up the public green area, especially the roof garden, needs to have a plan for drainage and irrigation. When making an irrigation plan, it is important to calculate the necessity for water and to determine the method of irrigation. For the purpose of irrigation plan, the soil, the climate characteristics and the plant material have been analised. Using these valuations, other neccessary irrigation elements have been calculated: water rate, the moment of begining of irrigation, hydromodule, number of irrigations applied and interval of irrigation. Existing plans for irrigation and drainage on Starčević Square have been analised it has been ascertained that they satisfy the needs of the plants for water
