Sažetak
The Croatian settlement in metropolitan Cleveland became on of the largest in America. From the Adriatic to Lake Erie, Croatians have been coming in search of freedom and decent living since 1880. To all them America was the land of opportunity. Of the estimated 2 million American Croatians of several generations, 35, 000 live in Cleveland and this vicinity. They have come a long way since the times when as poor immigrants they vorked in factories and mills on the most difficult and dangerouse jobs. The history of their stuggle, sacrifice and succes, is described in this book.
