Sažetak
The paper presents implementation of HF radars and presentation of sea surface currents data obtained by the HF radars installed in the west coast of Istra, Croatia. The system architecture is designed to work in real-time and delayed modes, but the accent is given on the real-time data acquisition, data validation, processing, archiving and presenting on the web using Google Earth tool. The measured data needs just several minutes after the measurements to appear on the web, which makes the system plausible for the rapid environmental assessment issues, such as oil spills, rescue missions and other.
