Sažetak
The work presents a systemic approach to maintenance planning of route navigational aids and the requirement estimate regarding spare parts needed for their maintenance. The approach considers the overall connectivity of the elements that define the maintenance system, as well as the circumstances which may substantially and significantly influence the functioning of the maintenance system. Basic problems that need to be solved in the maintenance system of a product during its normal exploitation include: location, quantity and price of the spare parts. The presented calculation of estimating the number of spare parts has been carried out in the view of the queuing system theory. For this purpose the following route navigational aids have been analysed regarding maintenance: VOR - Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range, NDB - Non- Directional Beacon, and DME - Distance Measuring Equipment. Analytical presentation of these aids is given by means of block-diagrams of the system reliability, reliability data for components and sections, and methods for predicting reliability based on the MIL standard. The conclusion indicates the importance of calculating the spare parts, and also the importance the maintenance system should have in the air traffic control centers.
