Sažetak
Music-making of this minority/ethnic group is subject to professional research from the 1870s. Along with the generations of Croatian singers and musicians one can follow the generations of folk music collectors and researchers. This paper traces standpoints and approaches to the Croats' music-making from the first Croatian ethnomusicologist F. Ks. Kuhač (1834-1911) to the generation of Burgenland Croats who at the same time participate in the musical life and investigate it. Its aim is to encourage studies in the history of minoriries' music-making.
