Sažetak
The main them of this thesis are amplitude fluctuations of spontaneous otoacoustic emissions (SOAE) that represent low-level narrow-band acoustic signals measured in the ear canal without applying external acoustic stimuli. Recordings of the acoustic pressure in the ear canal were performed in the Institute of Audiology, Groningen and Purdue University, West Lafayette. In order to study amplitude fluctuations, two models of coupled van der Pol oscillators were utilized.
