Sažetak
The paper emphasises undertaking of essential actions and their direction as a prerequisite to the efficient hotel company management. This process is specific due to specific nature and character of hotel industry, which distinguishes the role of human labour, the so-called human resources, making them irreplacable. Accordingly, it is important to underline the relevence of the process of creating, enabling and maintaining an efficient team of employees, alongsidde an orientation which involves the demarcation between the performance of shared tasks and individual participation in decision-making. Undoubtedly, this team must be in function of growing productivity, financial achievements and the establishment of long-term objectives, which guarantees the survival and competitive viability on an increasingly demanding market. Adequately and actively directed energy of such a team in undoubtedly a precondition for a future successful hotel management.
