Sažetak
The works of William Blake may be seen as an endeavour to portray a universal dimension of human experience. He extensively relies on the Bible, which he calls "the Great Code of Art". He uses the archetypes from the Bible to develop his own myth. This paper is focused on Blake’s interpretation of the myth of creation and fall embodied in the characters of Urizen and Orc and his idea about duality of creation exemplified in his use of “contraries”.
