Sažetak
The quality of welded structure joint preparation has a significant influence on overall quality of welded joints. Therefore suitable quality assessment method, which can provide measure of joint preparation quality level, should be implemented. In the paper, the gap effect on weld properties is discussed. Demerit method for quality assessment is explained and shown on an example.
