Sažetak
The aim of the study was to compare the structure, types and patterns of publication productivity by sociologists and political scientists, their publications' visibility/impact and predictors. Three most relevant bibliographic or/and citation data bases were searched: A. Croatian Scientific Bibliography (CROSBI) ; B. Web of Science (WoS) ; C. Google Scholar (GS) Citation data base. Publications and citations they received were observed over career-long period. The study encompassed all Ph.D. sociologists and political scientists employed at Croatian scientific institutions making a total of 155 (94 and 61 respectively).
