Sažetak
The aim of this study was to evaluate a new application for touch screen devices intended for work with children who have complex communication needs. The purpose of evaluation was to improve the application so that it would be as adjusted as possible to users' needs. The participants were four experts in the area of complex communication needs who used the application with 22 children. The evaluation was conducted in three phases. In the first phase, we held a focus group with experts who work with children with special needs. In the second phase, the experts used the application two months in sessions with children. In every session they filled out the questionnaire regarding a child's reactions to the application. In the third phase, we held a focus group with experts again. The obtained data were analyzed and used for the improvement of the application.
