Sažetak
The aim of this research was to establish and explain which motor abilities and morphological characteristics had a significant impact on wrestling bridge flip-over learning rate. The research was conducted on 30 kinesiology students (22.4 ± 0.8 age) from the University of Split. The treatment consisted of learning the wrestling bridge flip-over during two months (28 huors). The moment when each student succeed to perform flip-over was recorded. Measuring instrument was comprised of 8 tests for motor abilities and morphological characteristics evaluation. Multiple regression coefficients were used to determine the influence of those predictor variables on wrestling bridge flip-over learning rate. It was possible to explain 66% of the variance, and significant impact on wrestling bridge flip-over learning rate was recorded in flexibility evaluation tests wrestling bridge (beta = 0.51, p <0.05) and sit and reach (beta = 0.61, p <0.05). According to the results, we conclude that flexibility develop exercises must prevail in the process of flip-over learning.
