Sažetak
The research was carried out with 98 female pupils (11 +- 1 year old) who go in for rhythmic gymnastics through their extra-curriculum activities. The success in performing the rhythmic gymnastics compositions was evaluated by experts by means of video records. Each examinee was individually marked with numerical marks from 1 5 by five referees for every single composition. On the basis of performing of rhythmic compositions, by means of cluster analysis, two groups were obtained (N1 =43 the worse group ; N2 = 55 the better group). The next step of the research was to determine the differences between these two groups by discriminative analysis. The results of discriminative analysis between the girls who are better and worse performers of rhythmic compositions indicate that the groups significantly differ in their motor abilities ; in all tests of co-ordination in rhythm, as well as some tests of balance, flexibility and speed of legs movement frequency.
