Sažetak
The goal of this study was to evaluate biochemical indicators of liver cirrhosis and electrophoretoc hepatopoietin protein bands in patients with liver cirrhosis (n=30) and compare the results with the results obtained from healthy controls. After isolation hepatopoietin plasma extracts were submitted the electrophoretic separation using SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. In doing so three protein bands were separated in the area between 30, 000 and 50, 000 D. Comparing the results of biochemical indicators with those of liver cirrhosis it was found that 73.3& of patients carry positive band A, 93, 3% band B and 60% band C. In controls there were 80% subjects with band A, 88& with band B and 80% with band C.
