Sažetak
Hepatopoietin isolated from the rest of rat liver 50 hour after partial hepatectomy, purified by gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 and SDS electrophoresis according to Laemmlishowed one band in the area about 40, 000D. Chromatographically purified fractions of this extract showed biological activity. Samples of hepatopoietin extract isolated from plasma of the liver diesase patients treated with SDS and separated on SDS electrophoresis according to molecular mass showed protein band in the same area as well as hepatopoietin extract from rat liver.
