Sažetak
Hepatopoietin extract isolated from plasma of 72 liver disease patients and 25 healthy volonteers (hPHP). Protein bands of hPHP were separated by electrophoresis by means of Na-dodecilsulphatepolyacrilamidgel electrophorese (SDS-PAGE), modified so it could enable a good separation of proteins between 30, 000 and 50, 000 D. In this area three protein bannds were found ; band A around 41, 700 D, band B around 38, 000 D and band C 33, 800 D. Band A was found in 92% paitents, band B in 97% of patients and band C in 85% of patients. In control group, band A was found in 80% of subjects, bank B in 88% and band C in 80%. The results of comparation of protein bands and biochemical indicators of liver damage showed the highest frequency of band A in patients whose ALT and LDH values werehigher than 3SD referent values. The highest frequency of band B was found in patients whose bilirubin, AP, AST, GGT, AFP and CHE values were higher than 3SD reference values. Protein band C showed the lowest frequency regardless the examined biochemical indicators.
