Background:A quality of life is result of a style of life, a condition of life and a standard of life. A saving is result of a saving money, a saving of time and a saving of materials. It could be had in keeping or it could be used as a worth. Aim: Aim of this research was to show the connection between quality of life and quality of saving due to saving various things according to the certain financial possibility and its posssibility of easy saving. Methods: A short version of The Australian questionnaire for living standards was used in this research. It was consisted of 6 structural questions for financial possibility (result of that was quality of life) and answers on non structural questions about kinds of easy saving but not more than three ( result of that was quality of saving). Persons polled were wolunteers more than 18 years old. Interview was conduct through condition of anonymity in verious places of Rijeka such as places for walking, coffee-rooms, markets, librarys, exhabitions and churches during Janury and February 2005. (N-50, m-25, f-25). Results: Almost of persons polled (98%) could buy their new seasonal clothes. Major part of them (80%) could theirself pay their hobby and activity in free time. One third part of them (36%) could save very easly on phone (more often women) such as on transport and going out/night party (near one third-30% ; about equally women and men). It is shown that near one third of interviewed has medium-quality of life (almost equally women and men) and low -quality of saving (almost equally women and men or 26% together). Also about of 24% of them has high-quality of life (equalilly women and men). The insight into results on the end shows that the two of third of them or 68% of them have good quality of saving (more often men) and that only one person polled (woman) has very good quality of saving quite the opposite the almost of third or 30% of interviewed who have bad quality of saving ( two times more women) Conclusion: Major of interwied people of Rijeka during Janury and February 2005 show medium-quality of life and good quality of saving .
