Sažetak
To develop a sizing system, national population should be divided into different body types that are based on dimensions such as height or relationships between body measurements. The goal of each sizing system is select a group of sizes so that a limited number of sizes ensure a ready made garment that best fits the individuals of the population. It is necessary to develop supplements to existing systems in order to meet the requirements of a large number of customers. A valuable contribution of this paper is the overview of the Croatian technical report with emphasis on the supplement to the sizing system for the male population. According to the results of anthropometric measurements in the Republic of Croatia there are nine types of male bodies (type A – very narrow, type B – slim, type C - normal, type D – sturdy, type E – sturdier, type F – corpulent, type G – pot bellied, type H – pretty pot bellied, type I – very pot bellied. Male body type (type I) and garment and footwear sizes are specific for the male population of the Republic of Croatia.
