The sociodemographic questionnaire, the questionnaire about characteristics of suicide attempt, the questionnaire about psychic disturbance and the questionnaire about suicide related statements were used to query the patients. Results: There were somewhat more women(53%), younger people between 20 and 39 years old (82%), those with low education (42%), more unemployed (24%) and unmarried ( 47%). More then third of them suffered from depression (37%). Nicotine abuse was present in 36%, alcohol abuse in 15% of them. Every the 5th of them had mental resp. cognitive disturbances (22%) and about half of them suffered from loneliness (47%). Conclusion: Neuropsychiatric brain disorder component could be responsible for the low education, frequently accompanied by mental, respective cognitive disturbances, what could result in one's poor communication capabilities due to nicotine and alcohol abuse, loneliness and depression, and finally suicide attempt.
