Sažetak
Society development during last two centuries and especially in the 20 th century has caused changes of the nature of catastrophic degree and many of them are irrecoverable. Forests in Croati, as an indivisibile and integral part of nature have during few last decades passed through bih changes that even an uninformed observer can easy notice starting with the "aerated crowns" up to dead trees. In the stands that were for centuris balanced and naturally regenerated, recently the absencer of natural regeneration appeared and in drastic cases even the atrificial regeneration is not successful. In natural regeneratio of forest, silivcultural intervention is directed to supplement or better to say to support absence of expected forest seed crop, and from thje other side artificial regeheration is based exclusivelyon the available quantities of produced forest seeds and their qualitative properties. To fulfil not small needs for seeds of different species and quantities in Croatia, forests of special purpose for continual supply for seeds have been established. Dormice are part of biocenoses of the forests and their somewhere more and smewhere less present memeber that also leaves its prints of presence and activity. Seed crop-production of forest ssse in dorest seed stands is in direct corelation with undertaken management practices and vice versa( according to efficiency) to intensity of plant pathogens species fulfilment of theri food needs and by this item is lackihg, to date observing indicate the need for multidisciplinary approach to this for forest regeneration basic problem.
