Sažetak
Faculty of Metallurgy University of Zagreb was presented with its scientific and research possibilities, as well as education plans and programme. A brief overview of University of Zagreb and Faculty of Metallurgy establishment as its educational-scientific constitutional unit was given. Furthermore, organizational structure of the faculty through Department Laboratories and Chair was presented. Possibilities of the scientific and expert research at the Faculty of Metallurgy are correlated with existing domestic and abroad projects, expertises as well as publications. An emphasis was given on the history of long life learning (L3) performed through International Foundryman Conference and Seminars in organization of the Faculty. Beside this, education plans and programme were presented on all three levels: undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate as well as professional study of Founding. The aim was to establish further collaboration of the Faculty of Metallurgy with other present institutions in scientific and research area confirmed by protocol which will enable better efficiency in common project applications.
