Sažetak
Health care system in Croatia is undergoing changes that should result in better quality of care and a broader role of general practice within the health care system. A nurse is an important person in these changes, having the responsibility of various tasks. A generally positive attitude was shown towards nurses in our research emphasizing a great potential of nursing, which should be seriously taken into consideration in the transformation of health care system in this country.
