Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to analyse Gottlob Frege's contribution to philosophy of language. The article taken as a basis for discussion will be his well-known article, "On Sinn and Badeutung". However, in order to give a detailed insight into his theory, the paper deals with other articles as well (such as "Thought" and "On Object and Concept"). It is of high importance to emphasise Frege's disproving of the thesis that psychology should be a basis for mathematics and logic. In his works, he constantly gives arguments against this view, thus elaborating on his own philosophical approach to linguistic problems.
