Sažetak
The chapter contains analysis of the dynamics of induction motor fed directly from the isolated electrical grid. Induction motors behavior, during direct on line starting are presented and discussed. Transients of machine variables (such as electrical torque, speed, current, flux) due to sudden change in applied voltage as well as due to load change on induction machines shaft are analyzed. Significant disturbance arises when supply interruption occurs, thus effects of power supply interruption on dynamics of induction motors are analysed.
