Sažetak
Quality of public transport service can influence on urban modal shift significantly by promoting clean, efficient and sustainable transportation. Ways and conditions of providing public transport service differ and have resulted in various public transportation service patterns. Paper describes main types of public transportation service patterns and their influence on reduction of travel times and increase of capacity is analyzed. Main highlight is given to comparison of regular public transportation service and skip-stop service pattern. Additional modifications of skip- stop service patterns are described and modeled including prioritized stops and phase shifts patterns. This way travel time saving of 26, 5% are achieved.
