Sažetak
The aim of this lecture is to explain the development of refeeding syndrome from a laboratory standpoint. This includes a brief explanation of the pathophysiology of the development of RFS, a reflection on the metabolic and biochemical changes in laboratory blood analytes concentration, and the usefulness of the "reference change value" in the longitudinal assessment of laboratory test results. This work is the result of the review of the literature that has been applied in a laboratory environment.
