Sažetak
The developement of the entomological science i Croatia through the past 250 years can be devided into several periods. From the travel records in the late 18th century, intensive interst in insects and creation of the first insect collections in Croatia, primarly by foreigns and later by localy researchers, to the later establishment of museums and university institutions, until todays current scinetific research in various institutes and universitty faculties.
